Why the Bangkok Post continues to bombard and molest its readers with regular quotes by Prime Minister Samak about Burma is beyond comprehension and an insult to all who pursue democratic change in Burma, Thailand and elsewhere.
Now we have to understand that the ''shelving'' of Aung San Suu Kyi is part of Burma's ''50% democracy'' and that the prime minister would have no problem with it. Now we know that there are ''percentage democracies'' in the world.
Maybe there'll come a time when the citizens of Thailand feel they can't tolerate this kind of national and international embarrassment by their own prime minister any longer. When his tenure comes to an abrupt and negative end, I am sure Mr Samak can work as a cook for his criminal friends in Burma when they are incarcerated.
As these thugs are famous for meditating, Mr Samak may even learn more from them.
